18.10.1996	Iodine deficiency disorder, Health Centre, Sector 22, Chandigarh, Sh. Sohan Lal, DPI (Schools) was the Chief Guest.
13.10.1996	Mrs. Rama Chibber, present honours to Mr. Surinder Verma for contribution in the Matri Surakasha Abhiyan on 13-08-1998.

24-02-1996	HONOURED – Sh. Surinder Verma,Chairman Citizen Awareness Group was honoured by Mrs. Rama Chhibber wife of Lt. Gen. B.K.N.Chibber Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh at a function organised by Inner Wheel Club in collaboration with Chandigarh Administration on AIDS Awaeness in Govt. Senior Secondary School, Ram Darbar,Phase- II,Chandigarh.

21.01.1996	Pulse Polio programme in Sector 39,40,41, Kajeri and Maloya. 6500 childern were given polio drops.
