SMB Connect organizes SME Meet
President, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges was the Chief Guest

SMB Connect organized “SME Meet” today in the hotel, Park Plaza, Chandigarh. Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) was the association partner for the event. President, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Swadesh from SMB Connect presided over the event.
Many prominent speakers from the industry and academia namely President, Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Mr. Vishnu Goyal; Zonal Sales Head, CRISIL, Mr. Rahul Sondhi; VBS Head, Punjab, Vodafone, Mr. Joydeb Mukherjee; Regional Business Head, Religare, Mr. Jatinder Mohan Singh and Director, Vizinfo, Ms. Madhulika Kak were also present on the occasion.
President, HCCI, Mr. Vishnu Goyal said that SME sector also plays a significant role in the development of entrepreneurial skills and forms a substantial portion of the country’s export earnings. The importance of this sector is well recognized worldwide due to its significant contribution to gratifying various socio-economic objectives, such as higher growth of employment.
Zonal Sales Head, CRISIL, Mr. Rahul Sondhi said that we should use such type of strategies so that we can expand globally. He gave the example of ‘Make in India’ campaign. He added that by inviting international manufacturers and conduct their core operations in India. Global businesses are looking towards India and creating new opportunities for small enterprises and start-ups.
Concluding the seminar president, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria extended Vote of thanks to Mr. Swadesh and all the speakers, for sharing their valuable thoughts.

According to Spokesperson of BJP Kailash Jain, during the inauguration of campaign, CM Manohar Lal Khattar reiterated that earlier the party used to campaign peacefully and according to constitution of the Party and now BJP has taken lead by campaigning online, resultantly the public in general will get benefit. Any person can become member of BJP by giving a miss call on a specific number directly. He further stated that he was a worker who used to work in Streets, Mohalla and Mandal levels and now the party has honoured him as Chief Minister, which is only possible in BJP.
Mr Khattar further stated that when he thinks about his journey from a worker to Chief Minister, mostly the thought what he has lost and what gained, resultantly comes to conclusion that he had lost his independence. When he was Organization Secretary of Chandigarh he used to come any time without any restrictions whereas now he is bound by some restrictions. He made an appeal to public to give wide publicity and more importance to the membership campaign for which the workers of BJP will have to go to booth level to seek help of general public. He further added that the workers should take responsibility to executive the assignment given by the party, at the both levels also to strengthen the party.
Organization Secretary of Chandigarh, is personally aware of the names of all workers of Chandigarh unit. All workers shared their views personally with Mr Khattar. Mr Tandon further elaborated about the online campaign and said that BJP targeted to make one lac members in Chandigarh only, which the party will achieve. He further added that Mr. Khattar, Ms Aarti Mehra and he himself have also given miss calls and obtained their membership.
Prabhari BJP Chandigarh Ms Aarti Mehra stated that keeping in view the enthusiasm in workers for the online membership campaign, BJP expected to achieve membership of more than 10 crore in the near future.
Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) organized a lecture on “Mind Your Mind” at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. Marital Counselor and Gemologist, Col. Gursewak Singh was the Key Note Speaker on the occasion. President, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr Anshu Kataria presided over the event. Chairman, Membership Committee, CMA, Mr. A.K. Gandhi was also present on 
the occasion.
After the lecture, a Questions/Answers round was also held. Col. Gursewak Singh made all the queries of the audience clear regarding various problems and issues related to Mind. The Master of Ceremony, Vice President, CMA, Mr. Jagtaran Singh Nayyar extended Vote of Thanks for the helpful tips given by Col. Gursewak Singh at the end of the Lecture.

While delivering the talk Col. Gursewak Singh explained beautifully all the aspects related to “Human Mind”. He said that first we have to understand the theory of the human mind: What is human mind including Conscious and Sub-conscious mind? How it functions in conjunctions with our brain? How we can use it to enhance our personality to achieve success in life and attain peace of mind.
He further added that physical exercise, meditation, plenty of sleep and socialization are some steps to keep our mind healthy. He also told that Alcohol and other drugs can kill brain cells. On other hand, Caffeine creates a dependence on a chemical that can otherwise be generated naturally.
