‘3rd Annual International Sufi Festival and Craft mela-2015’ begins with the live performance of  renowned sufi singer ‘Satinder Sartaj” today in Chappar chirri, Mohali. The festival was inaugurated by Minister, Department of Tourism, Punjab, S. Sohan Singh Thandal. Director Tourism, Punjab, Sh. NPS Randhawa; Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria many renowned personalities of the city were also present on the occasion.

Satinder Sartaj embraced the audience by taking them on a musical journey. He entertained the crowd with his smooth rendition of ‘Sai’. He performed on his many world famous songs like ‘Cheerey Waalea’; ‘Paani Panjan Daryawan Wala’; ‘Zikar Tera’; ‘Akhiri Apeel’  ‘Maula Ji’; ‘Nikki Jehi Kuri’;  ‘Yamaha’;  ‘Dil Sabh De Vakhre’ ; ‘ Soohe Khat’ and many more.

Minister, Department of Tourism, Punjab, Sardar Sohan Singh Thandal said that this festival is of three days. Staring from today this will end on 3^rd march. During these three days of the festival many renowned singers like sufi artists Ali Brothers, Mamta Joshi, Alamghir Khan, Zafar Lohar (Pakistan), Qawaal Shantoo Khan (Pakistan) will give their live performances in three days Festival.

Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that Aryans feel proud to be the part of this event. Dr. Kataria further said that he appreciates the efforts of the tourism dept that after heavy rainfall still department managed to start the event with great zeal.
